All apparent qualities as the characteristic do not arise or refer to self but are the wellspring of spontaneity. The satisfaction of the reach is unfulfilled as the object of desire can never be apprehended. Fearlessness is established as Radiance. The character is a form which assumes its own interest, and its primary interest is assumption. The nature of assumption is consumption, and this very activity is self.

The one who believes they are in full control is a slave of the flesh, yet verily it is the same mechanism of response which confers the characteristics of and as direct experience, as the water itself may be tasted and the water eternally remains the ocean, undifferentiated and absolute.

The spiritually minded continue pursuit, and the bloodstream is hope. Substitution appears as fair play in the sport of free-will, yet sleep still comes, and so too the waking world. You your-self look for cause yet have no location. As this is the case you will cease to be, and so what remains of the pursuit? Cause and effect appear as function relative to doership. As the Consciousness spontaneously appeared the great collection began. The world itself a city of concepts to play and hide as occupant and landlord. Yet sleeping and waking remained out of view.
