Devotional Love must serve not as simple adoration or the association with intensity as a mechanism of bodily response, but rather as the turn to conscious Sadhana, that this Love may serve the fact of True Relation and illumine the nature and tendencies of distraction and avoidance, that the intensity is the willingness of and as intensity, that the subtle aspects of all apparent difference and conditions, as well as all conditional existence be brought to bear and brought upon, as that which is True Relation is conscious Sadhana.

Adoration, like infatuation, is the name of a preliminary aspect of recognition which as given apparent location and by which serves as apparent residence, is the veiling of salvation in the game of hide and seek as the subject-object play. The fact of the great paradox is such that as all experiences are seen through and all acts and actions of the disciple or devotee are complete or dissolved, then and only then is one a true disciple or devotee. The inquiry ‘what is the nature of this sharing’ continues to serve and illumine, as does the recognition of the nature of the apparent and fundamental turn.

True Relation is not a relation with and as separateness. True Relation is transcendent as True Relation is self-transcending. True Relation is neither a common relation nor a conceptual awakeness, but rather true and absolute non-separateness as the root tendency of and as the objectifying mind dissolves as Love, which is the Self-radiant clarity of Truth as That which is ever radiant in and as Heart.

The true object of True Devotion is no object at all, as True Love is neither bound nor determined by and as the gross or subtle. Free of the tendencies of distraction and avoidance, the Light appears brighter, yet the Light is changeless, can not be made brighter, as the sun has no night. The fundamental turn is to the Light, and the Light is the purification of mind as the moth to the Flame, and the Flame of Silence is the Holy Burning. This is the Tapas of the disciple and devotee. The turn to and as conscious Sadhana, true remembrance, is the turn itSelf, and this is Devotional Love, which is True Love, and True Love is all-inclusive.
